LIMS integration

LIMS integrated cassette printer workflows

For pathology IT teams and lab managers evaluating how accession data, block identifiers, and barcode fields move from LIMS/HIMS into cassette labels without retyping.

Start with the data contract

Integration succeeds when every cassette field has a single source of truth in the LIMS or HIMS. The UVP202002 supports LIMS/HIMS-connected workflows, but each vendor environment still needs configuration and validation.

  • Map accession, block, and barcode fields before template design
  • Define which fields are fixed, imported, or operator-entered
  • Separate normal print path from reprint and amended-case workflows
  • Validate printed text against encoded barcode content

What the UVP202002 supports

The tissue cassette printer includes batch upload software, a built-in scanner, stand-alone operation, and configurable print templates on a 10-inch touchscreen. It can also connect to the UVP202001 slide printer for linked specimen tracking when field mapping is disciplined.

  • Batch upload software for structured print jobs
  • Built-in scanner for controlled exception entry
  • Six selectable hoppers; confirm selection rules for your workflow
  • Confirm interface details during quote and implementation
